The Institutional Support Prosecution at Al Wasl University represents the cornerstone of the university’s administrative work due to its service departments and departments, such as human resources, financial affairs, university facilities, public services, procurement, and tenders, as well as the support services it provides to workers in the human, financial, technical and logistical fields of all university units so that they can perform their educational mission to serve the nation in general and the Emirati and Gulf communities in particular.
Duties of the Vice Chancellor for Institutional Support:
Issuing decisions of an administrative and financial nature.
Supervise the management of all personnel except faculty members.
Follow up on matters related to campus maintenance and public safety.
Supervising the management of the university’s accounts and budget.
Supervise the procurement, registration, and distribution of supplies to university facilities.
Supervise student activities and general services for students.
The Vice Chancellor for Institutional Support holds a key administrative role and has many responsibilities. Of which:
Infrastructure and Public Services Department:
Coordinate with the concerned departments to ensure the maintenance of effective and secure infrastructure.
Manage general services such as transportation, security, and maintenance.
Strategic Planning:
Participate in the development and implementation of strategies for the University.
Advising the Director General or the President of the University on strategic planning decisions.
Project Management:
Organizing and coordinating institutional projects and ensuring that they achieve the set objectives.
Planning and monitoring resources allocated to projects.
Human Resources Management:
Supervise the management of personnel resources in the affiliated sectors.
Coordinate with the Human Resources Department regarding recruitment, training, and evaluation.
Coordination with third parties:
Interact with government agencies and external strategic partners.
Coordination of external partnerships and agreements.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with the laws and regulations related to the University.
Manage and assess enterprise risks and apply strategies to deal with them.
Process Optimization:
Review and improve internal processes to enhance efficiency and improve performance.
