The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Scientific Research Affairs was established per the Decision No. 237 of 2020 issued by the Chancellor of the University. A Vice Chancellor of the University for Research Affairs was assigned to supervise and follow up on the following units: scientific journals, the university book project, the Center for Prophetic Sunnah Research, scientific activities of faculty members, and all other matters related to scientific research. The Vice Chancellor of the University for Research Affairs is responsible for: Supervising university journals. Supervising the university book project. Supervising the Center for Prophetic Sunnah Research. Supervising the Center for Linguistic and Narrative Studies Research. Supervising the Center for Artificial Intelligence Research for Human Sciences. Supervising the library and information resources, including electronic library systems. Supervising the implementation of the general policy for the technological infrastructure of learning resources. Supervising the university’s website. Monitoring the scientific activities of faculty members. Monitoring the adoption plans of programs related to scientific research and information resources. Supervising conferences held by the colleges. Supervising scientific seminars. Monitoring agreements related to scientific research. Issuing decisions regarding the Research Affairs Deanship. Executing any other tasks assigned by the University Director.
