Overview
The General Services and Maintenance Department continuously strives to improve the quality of its services provided through its two administrative divisions: Transportation Services and Maintenance Services.
The Department of Transport Services provides many transportation services to the community of Al Wasl University through a modern fleet of light and heavy vehicles, which are driven by responsible and highly qualified drivers to ensure the safety of all students.
The Maintenance Department plays a key role in providing all maintenance services at the university, and the provision of these services is not limited to within the university, in addition to that, the department provides the finest maintenance outside the university at the headquarters of the achievement building for female students at the university in the Higher Colleges of Technology in the Emirate of Fujairah from maintenance work and others.

Services provided by the university:
Maintenance Services
Free maintenance services are provided daily with general maintenance of all buildings every six months. The existing maintenance team provides maintenance services as follows:
– Daily maintenance
– Quarterly maintenance, which is completed before the beginning of each semester
– General maintenance periodically according to the proactive maintenance plan
– 24-hour emergency maintenance
Cleaning Services
Cleaning companies are outsourced under the supervision of the General Services Department, a specialized team for cleaning all administrative offices, bathrooms, classrooms, library, mosque, and other university facilities, and cleaning services include the following:
– Cleanliness of public facilities and corridors.
Security & Safety Services
All buildings, classrooms, service halls, and even corridors are equipped with the latest early fire detection system in the event of a fire. Firefighting systems are spread from high-pressure water cannons and fire extinguishers, in addition to emergency stairs, exit outlets, assembly points, and indicative signs.
The university’s team also implements drill evacuation plans periodically to train students on rapid evacuation in the event of any fire. Security guards continuously monitor the university’s facilities through electronic devices to ensure the safety of students, which is one of our top priorities.
Transportation Services
The Transport Services Section at the General Services Department at Al Wasl University provides transportation for students on air-conditioned buses that transport them regularly throughout the day between the different emirates.
