The library at Al Wasl University stands as a vital academic resource centre, contributing to the field of information resources that support both learning materials and scientific research. Our primary objective is to enhance learning resources, elevating the efficiency and quality of the educational process, while aligning with the UAE’s educational vision of formation and innovation.
Distinguished by its extensive collection of specialized references in Islamic studies, Arabic language, and literature, totalling over 70 thousand copies, Al Wasl University Library also boasts a dedicated section for postgraduate studies and printed university dissertations. Furthermore, we are actively working on establishing an open-access electronic library containing 15 thousand books spanning various scientific fields and research topics. Our library is electronically connected to the Juma Al Majid Centre for Culture and Heritage.
We are committed to providing a scholarly and conducive environment for students and researchers, offering eight well-equipped study rooms with computers. These spaces are designed to create an optimal atmosphere for focused study.
As part of our ongoing support for the university’s educational endeavours, the library diligently acquires information sources, both in print and electronic formats, especially those closely aligned with scientific courses and curricula. Additionally, we strive to meet the reading needs that align with the interests of researchers.
Recognizing that students and researchers are at the heart of our focus, the library endeavours to connect cultural activities with the social environment. We aim to motivate students to engage with societal topics and issues, fostering innovation.
The dedicated team at Al Wasl University Library is prepared to offer comprehensive support and assistance to university students and researchers, ensuring the creation of an outstanding scientific and research environment.
