His Excellency Prof. Sami Al Sharif, Secretary General of the Association of Islamic Universities, visited Al Wasl University in Dubai on Friday morning, 22-11-2024. He was received by Prof. Muhammad Ahmed Abdul Rahman, Chancellor of the University, and the Vice Chancellor of the University for Academic Affairs, Scientific Research Affairs, and Institutional Support.
During the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation between the Association of Islamic Universities and AWU were discussed. His Excellency also visited the university library and its Islamic books and references, He learned about the contents of the Graduate Studies, including scientific theses in Islamic studies.
At the end of the visit, the Secretary General of the Association of Islamic Universities thanked His Excellency Juma Al Majid, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and the administration of Al Wasl University for their efforts in serving science and its students. He praised the academic and scientific excellence achieved by the university
